My "Plugins Admin" is missing from the menu. How do I fix it?

This usually happens if the nppPluginList.dll file is missing or blocked by antivirus.

  1. Check if C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins\Config\nppPluginList.dll exists.
  2. If missing, reinstall the latest version of Notepad++.
  3. Ensure you are not running the installer with the /noPlugin argument.
How do I verify the GPG Signature?

To ensure your download is genuine:

  1. Download the "GPG Notepad++ Public key" from the download page.
  2. Import the key into your GPG keychain (GnuPG or Gpg4win).
  3. Verify the signature file (.sig) against the installer.

Notepad++ crashes immediately on startup.
